Ingredients: 
  • 2 teaspoons finely shredded lemon peel 
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened 
  • 8 ounces fresh or dried tagliatelle or fettuccine 
  • 1 cup whipping cream, heated 
  • 1/3 pound prosciutto, cut into strips 
  • 3/4 cup fresh-grated Parmesan cheese
Directions: 
  1. In a small bowl, combine the lemon peel and softened butter; set aside. 
  2. Cook the pasta in boiling, salted water just until tender; drain. 
  3. Transfer the pasta to a warm serving bowl. Add the lemon butter and warm cream. Toss gently to coat. Add the prosciutto. 
  4. Serve pasta sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese.
